One-on-One Custom Hand-Painted Sneaker Service
At Dawnsk, every pair of custom hand-painted sneakers begins with one-on-one communication.
We develop a personalized design direction based on your story, preferences, and creative inspiration, then bring it to life through hand-painting. Anime characters, games and movies, car culture, sports themes, commemorative ideas, or your own personal inspiration can all become the starting point for a truly one-of-a-kind pair.
Custom Process | How It Works
1. Initial Consultation
Contact us through Instagram, LINE, WhatsApp, Email, or the contact form and share your design ideas, including:
- Design theme or inspiration
- Preferred style and color palette
- Specific characters, images, or cultural elements
- Names, dates, text, or commemorative details
- Personal story or special meaning
- Preferred shoe model and size
Common shoe models include Air Force 1, Air Jordan 1, and Dunk. Available models, colors, and sizes are confirmed based on current availability.
After receiving your request, we will organize the design direction and assess whether the proposed content is suitable for the selected shoe model.
2. Design Assessment & Quotation
Once we understand your requirements, we evaluate the project based on:
- Design complexity
- Hand-painted area and level of detail
- Characters, text, and image elements
- Composition across the left and right shoes
- Shoe material, color, and production difficulty
- Any additional design adjustments required
After the assessment, we will provide a custom plan, formal quotation, and estimated production timeline.
The quotation will outline the shoe cost, customization fee, shipping fee, and any other applicable charges based on the actual order, so you can clearly understand the service scope and total budget before proceeding.
3. Design Deposit
After confirming the custom plan and quotation, a design deposit is required to confirm the commission and reserve your design and production slot.
The design deposit covers:
- Custom sketches or concept artwork
- Design communication and direction refinement
- Shoe and material preparation
- Production scheduling
The design process begins once the deposit is confirmed.
The deposit is applied toward the final order total.
If you need to cancel the commission after design work has begun, the deposit and any applicable refund will be handled according to Dawnsk's Refund Policy and the actual stage of service completed.
Before paying the deposit, please confirm that the quotation, design direction, shoe model, and size information are correct.
4. Design Proposal & Approval
Once the design direction is established, we will provide the following as appropriate for the project:
- Design sketches or concept artwork
- Main composition and image placement
- Color palette and detail notes
- Left-and-right shoe design arrangement
- Planned production direction and visual effect
You can review the design before production begins and request necessary adjustments within the scope of the original requirements.
Once the design is approved, the project moves into the hand-painting stage.
Major changes to the theme, characters, composition, color palette, or other confirmed requirements may require a revised quotation, production timeline, or design plan.
5. Hand-Painted Production
Once the design is approved, Dawnsk begins hand-painted production based on the final confirmed design.
The production process typically includes:
- Shoe surface and material preparation
- Composition placement
- Layered color application
- Outline and detail painting
- Final finishing and quality check
Every pair is made to order. Production time varies depending on design complexity, shoe materials, and the current order queue.
During production, we will provide updates when needed based on actual progress and order requirements. If additional design confirmation is required, we will contact you directly.
6. Final Confirmation, Balance & Shipping
Once the artwork is complete, we will provide photos or videos of the finished pair so you can confirm the overall composition, color palette, and hand-painted details.
Because every pair is hand-painted, natural variations may occur due to shoe structure, upper material, size proportions, and the hand-painting process. These subtle differences are part of the handcrafted character of each piece and help make every pair unique.
After the finished work and shipping details are confirmed, the order proceeds to final balance settlement and shipping arrangements.
Customers in Taiwan may be able to pay the remaining balance by cash on delivery when the package arrives, subject to the order and logistics conditions. The design deposit must still be paid before design and production begin.
COD eligibility, the amount that can be collected, and any related logistics fees will be confirmed with the customer before shipment. If the order or destination is not eligible for COD, the remaining balance must be paid before shipment.
For orders to Hong Kong and other regions, the remaining balance generally must be paid before shipment.
Once the final payment or COD arrangement is confirmed, we will complete final preparation, packaging, and shipping, and provide tracking information after dispatch.
Delivery times vary by destination, carrier, customs clearance, and local logistics. Any import duties, taxes, or other charges imposed in the destination country or region are handled according to local customs and logistics regulations.

Before approving the design, please carefully review the theme, text, dates, color palette, shoe model, size, and shipping information. Major changes requested after design approval and production has begun may result in additional fees and a longer production time.
Customers are responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to use any photos, text, logos, or other design materials they provide. Dawnsk reserves the right to evaluate, adjust, or decline content that is unsuitable for production or may involve intellectual property disputes.
Cancellations, refunds, returns, and exchanges for custom orders are handled according to Dawnsk's Refund Policy and the actual order circumstances. Shipping methods, delivery times, duties, and related fees are subject to the Shipping Policy and actual logistics arrangements.
